made this one special was beating a CWS quality team/program on their home field, when they were expecting/realizing it was a big weekend. It was a big weekend for them as well. Not taking anything away from UVA, as we both look very very similar. Both squads play very good defense, pitch well, and hit for average and power. Hard to think we won 2 of 3 up there and did not even use Hurney or Higgins out of the pen at all, But I won't be surprised if UVA makes a serious run this year. Many in our league could, actually......We are now in a position for a National Seed (1-8). I said "position," so that just means we will have a shot if we play well down the stretch.....We are a confident group at this point, and do a lot well. Have built a strong foundation this year, time to close out strong and keep the momentum going.....Lot to play for, and a chance for real program growth.
